Our family look forward to welcoming you to our 100% off-grid boutique Cellar Door and Winery to experience a unique wine tasting with our family’s winemakers Peter and Tracie Young and staff. We specialise in creating wines with personality and style utilising the dry-grown (non-irrigated) French and Spanish grape varietals we grow and only 15 minutes north of Heathcote town.

Silver Spoon Estate has a diverse range of varietal wines, including Tempranillo, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Viognier and a distinct collection of medium to heavy bodied Shiraz to suite all wine lovers - including our famous MONSTER SHIRAZ. We also produce a range of red blends including GSM, GST or our current release Fandango dry red, and a very special late harvest wine too. There is always a wine for every palate, every budget, every occasion.

Come and enjoy our friendly hospitality within our barrel room or ornamental Wine Garden overlooking the beautiful vista of the central Heathcote wine region.

Note: There are a limited range of wines available on tasting presently due to current COVID-19 restrictions. We are following the current government regulations with registration, licence and temperature checks on arrival, with sanitising between visitors and social distancing. Bookings are essential.

Terms and Conditions

Victoria has seen the easing of the declared State of Emergency due to Covid19 allowing all visitors to our region and cellar door. Although there are easing of restrictions we still need to abide by strict regulations around the safety of our staff and visitors. We need your help to ensure we can remain open so please: (1) Stay home and call to cancel your booking if - you are feeling unwell or have the following symptoms fever cough sore throat or shortness of breath and - have come into contact with someone with a positive COVID19 test (2) To manage the restrict number of guests per cellar door please advise Tracie on 0412 167 927 if: a. You are unable to make your booking b. You would like to increase the number of guests joining you for the tasting c. You would like to bring pets or children with you to our cellar door (3) Register your visit to our cellar door by completing the register at the entrance to our cellar door with usage of hand sanitiser available on arrival. If you and your companions are not comfortable providing thes details we reserve the right to cancel your visit. This is so we can continue to protect our staff and fellow patrons. (4) Follow instructions from staff and notices at the cellar door to ensure social distancing (5) Maintain hygiene practices at the cellar door and make use of hand sanitizer provided (6) Respect other visitors and staff and (7) Please be patient with our staff as we learn these new procedures and maintain a safe environment for all.
