By booking to stay at The Whimsy you have agreed to the following terms and conditions: - If you need to cancel we need at least 14 days notice and will refund your fee less an administration fee. - Booking period- The minimum set stay is 2 nights, or 1 night if booking for a Wednesday night (online bookings). Please email if you wish to enquire about a 1 night stay at any other time; - Number of Guests- We are licensed for a maximum of 6. - Check in/out- The Whimsy is available from 3pm on the first day of booking and must be vacated by 10am on the morning after the last night of the booking; - You are responsible for damage, breakages*, theft and loss relating to the Property and any part of it during your stay. You must notify us of this immediately. Management may recover from you repair or replacement cost (at Managements discretion). - You agree that if Management should determine there to be evidence of loss/damage/breakage* or the property is left in an unreasonably unclean state following check-out then Management has the right to recover from you the repair, additional cleaning or replacement cost. - It is the Guest’s responsibility to advise the Owner of any pre-existing damage/breakage/loss at the commencement of the stay. *Broken Items — Please leave whatever it may be out so we can replace it and never stress about small breakages like a broken cup or plate as life happens. Alternately, any damage that is malicious or thefts will be reported to the police. - The loss of a key will require a complete replacement of several door barrels and keys. You will be charged with the cost of this, should this be required. - No Pets- There are no pets at The Whimsy, please. Evidence of pets will incur an extra cleaning fee that may be expensive. - Please note that any children in your party remain under your care and must be supervised at all times. - No smoking is permitted in the property. - All rates include linen and cleaning and there are no additional service fees. - Parties and Events – By prior arrangement only and noting council permission and permits are required for many events nowadays. Although if you want to turn the music up there are no immediate neighbors so go ahead and enjoy! - Commercial Use - Please note any use of the property for filming or sourcing images for commercial use or publication will only be permitted to occur if approved in advance of the booking by the owner in writing and will usually incur a further fee. - We recommend all guests purchase travel insurance noting Management are not responsible for any injuries, illness or accidents that may occur whilst staying at our property.
